Yes! Yes! Yes!

The Body Finder is one of my most favorite series on the market today. Kimberly Derting is a master at giving you chills while reading, so when THE LAST ECHO arrived I dropped everything to devour her newest creation and I was not disappointed.

Violet Ambrose has begun working with Sara Priest and her team of “gifted” psychic teens at the Center which is an off the cuff FBI team. This time around, we are introduced to the members of the group (Sam, Rafe, Gemma, and Krystal) and what their special gifts are throughout the book. Each member is unique, yet each ability can play off other members, making them a complete team.

Jay and Violet are still going strong even with Rafe hanging around in the background. There is absolutely no denying the connection and chemistry with Jay and Violet and I wish there was more time with them on the pages, but you can’t help wonder about Rafe because he has a connection that Jay doesn’t have with their psychic connection. We learn a lot about Rafe in this time; things that make you can’t help but like him.

The Girlfriend Collector, aptly named I might add, is beyond creepy. When he tells his story you want to yell and scream at the girls he’s talking too. He’s unbelievably smooth with his pick-up lines and charm; things just don’t turn out to well for his “girlfriends”. Then he sees his ultimate prize, the girl he just can’t live without . . . Violet.

Violet is truly tested in THE LAST ECHO as a person, girlfriend and a psychic.  School seems to no longer exist for her and when her life is on the line she has to dig deep and do things she never thought she’d have to just to survive.

Ever suspenseful and now the aptly dubbed master of major cliffhangers and twists, Derting, leaves your mouth hanging open with her ending and I’m happy to say I have it on good authority that the fourth book in the series is being written right now.

THE LAST ECHO is available on April 17th, I highly suggest you pre-order because we all know that Amazon ships early!
